Focus Points offers programs that meet the needs and enrich the quality of life of adults, children and families. Focus Points is one of a few Denver area nonprofits that has the expertise to meet the needs of the Latino population and has gained the trust of its local community to provide meaningful, effective and culturally appropriate services. Focus Points will serve 1,500 families in 2011-12. Focus Points provides people with a safe place where they feel comfortable and can grow.
The following services are available through Focus Points:

Adult English as a Second Language classes

Open Book Adult Basic Education for English speakers who read and write below an eighth-grade level

GED test preparation in English

Parents as Teachers - Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters programs for children age 0 to 5 years

Early Childhood Education for children while their parents attend classes

Enrollment in family support programs, including CHP+ health insurance for children, Medicaid, 9 Health Fair and other services

Nutrition and Gardening classes
