All of our programs are designed to foster intergenerational learning and literacy development and to build capacity within all members of the family. Current programs emphasize teaching basic education skills in reading and writing to adults; teaching English to non-native-English-speaking adults; providing Early Childhood Education; and providing programs that strengthen Latino families while respecting their values. All programs are research-based and demonstrate outstanding outcomes, including extremely high retention rates and an ability to offer programming in response to community needs. We contribute to building the economic success of our community by providing access to quality education for all members of society.
Specific programs for each of our areas of interest are:

- English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
- Open Book Literacy/Adult Basic Education (ABE)
- GED Preparation
|
Early Childhood Education (ECE)

I get to see the daily impacts that we make on families whether they are in English classes, Early Childhood Education, or receiving Case Management. I work here to see the smile on a participant's face as they grow in their abilities to speak English, or improve in their parenting skills and can see their child learning more each day. In my position as Family Programs Manager, I am able to work one-on-one with these families, and really see families grow as they make changes to improve their lives.
