Wildflower English for Newcomers

Supporting Refugees in language acquisition, integration, and employment

At Focus Points, we are dedicated to supporting Colorado newcomers by providing English, technology, and life skills training. Our aim is to empower participants in their journey towards early employment, economic security, integration, and independence. We honor and embrace the experiences, strengths, heritage languages, and cultures of our participants.

Wildflower English for Newcomers Program
We offer both virtual and in-person classes for ORR-eligible adult refugees. Our classes are designed to meet a variety of learning needs, from pre-literate to advanced levels, and include enrichment options like Computer Skills and Grammar Skills.

Registration Information
To enroll in our program, you need to be associated with one of the following Resettlement Agencies: Lutheran Family Services (LFS), African Community Center (ACC), International Rescue Committee (IRC), or Jewish Family Service (JFS). Please ask your case manager to refer you to Focus Points for English classes. Upon referral, we will contact you for registration at one of our locations:

  • Focus Points Location: 2501 E. 48th Ave, Denver, CO 80216
  • Mango House Location: 10180 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO 80010

Interpretation and remote registration assistance are available for those in need.
