Wildflower English for Newcomers Instructor

This role requires planning and teaching four (4) classes per week, ranging from pre-literate to advanced levels. Our courses are 2.5 hours each and held 2x weekly. This is currently a hybrid position—with attendance to in-person meetings and trainings required—and will likely require adjustment to in-person or hybrid classroom modalities in the near future.

Wildflower English for Newcomers ELA Instructor (Part-time)

The Wildflower English for Newcomers ELA Instructor is a part-time instructor for our adult refugee ELA program. The instructor is responsible for the teaching of two classes as well as assisting with academic activities and general administrative duties as assigned. Our program depends on the instructor’s ability to guide our students in a compassionate, cohesive, and consistent manner in order to help grow the department and keep performance, attendance rates, and morale high.

Comal BOH Specialist (Kitchen Porter)

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and healthy kitchen for the Comal program participants in alignment with public health regulations and industry best practices. The Kitchen Porter will work with Focus Points participants, who typically come from immigrant, refugee, low-income, and other diverse backgrounds.

BOH Specialist/Social Enterprise Education Coordinator

The BOH Specialist/Social Enterprise Education Coordinator is a part-time Social Enterprise staff member who leads Food and Farming Industry Specific Classes weekly both virtually and In-Person in both English and Spanish. This position also provides Back of the House assistance at Comal Heritage when needed.

Huerta Urbana Specialist III

The Huerta Urbana Specialist and will support the delivery of the Huerta Urbana curriculum as well as day- to-day coordination of farm projects. This position is responsible for supporting Huerta Urbana program, farm expectations, in addition to following the guidance of Interim Senior Manager of Social Enterprise/Huerta Urbana Program Manager and agricultural regulations.
