Our annual fundraiser, Lotería, is a joyful celebration of culture, resilience, and community, honoring all of the Denver families we serve through early childhood education, food access, and family support. Please join us for this year’s 2026 event. See photos from last year’s event below!
Huerta Urbana Farmers' Market
The market’s pay-what-you-can model provides affordable access to healthy, seasonal produce and other pantry essentials by giving customers market bucks to cover their initial or partial purchases. The market, hosted on Focus Points’ parking lot, runs most Fridays. For the 2026 season, the Farmers’ Market will run from June 19th to October 30th from 2-5PM. The market operates in collaboration with vendors and community partners supporting access to fresh, healthy produce as well as local economic development. VOLVER A LA ESCUELA
Our annual Back2School event will be on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 before the start of the school year. Families will be provided with backpacks for their school-aged children on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, families will also receive information about Focus Points’ services while being introduced to other community partners at this indoor/outdoor event at our center. There will be plenty of food, crafts, and community bonding for all with entertainment from local dance and music groups! See some photos from last year’s event below!

Board Reception for 30th Anniversary Celebration
To celebrate Focus Points’ 30th anniversary, we hosted a reception for past and present Board of Directors members, including founders, community members, and program managers. It was a wonderful March evening of connection and celebration. We’re grateful for the many individuals who’ve supported our mission of building better communities by strengthening families, and we look forward to continuing our work in the years ahead.
Fiesta de invierno
Our annual Winter Fiesta celebrates families enrolled in Focus Points’ PAT and HIPPY early childhood programs. Last year’s theme for Winter Fiesta was inspired by the classic story of the Grinch and called “A Grinchy Whobilation” on Friday, December 5th, 2025. At Winter Fiesta, families are celebrated with entertainment a local dance studio, arts and crafts, games, prizes, toys, and other fun activities with plenty of photo opportunities with Santa Claus…and the Grinch too! Coming up for 2026 we head into the magical world of Elf with Buddy and all of his friends!
