At this time, Focus Points does not have someone certified for supporting community members in accessing their driver’s license; however, we do have a community partnership with the organization that is leading this, CIRC.
- Driver’s licenses for all Coloradans – Informed Immigrant: Find detailed information on how to apply and obtain an SB251 driver’s license.
- SB-251 Driver’s Licenses — Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition: This link contains information about the why and how of SB251 driver’s licenses. Participants can also make an appointment with the DMV online, following instructions on this website.
- Participants can also call 720-295-2965 for assistance making the appointment.
As our Wildflower for English Newcomers program, which served refugees, is closed as of October 2025, Focus Points is currently not providing English classes directly. However, we have established a community partnership with an organization overseeing these classes, Community Hub through Denver Public Schools (DPS).
Should you require further details, feel free to reach out to Community Hub either by email at CommunityHubs@dpsk12.org or by calling 720-424-3710. They welcome adult enrollments in September and January.
Additionally, we’ve compiled a list of other valuable resources for English language learning:
