You can visit us at our center without an appointment during the Winter months on:
Wednesdays between 9:00 AM – 12:15PM and 12:45 PM – 4:00PM and Fridays between 9:00AM – 12:00PM.

Asistencia con la factura de energía
Your family may be eligible to receive help with past due energy bills through EOC or LEAP. We provide assistance to eligible families. Families can only receive help with their energy bills from Focus Points once.
UPDATE: As of October 1st, 2025, we are able to again start providing utilities assistance through EOC for Excel Energy bills!
Acceso a alimentos
Focus Points puede ayudarlo a determinar la elegibilidad para recibir asistencia alimentaria de su familia y conectarlo con los recursos que necesita. Muchas familias son elegibles para recibir cupones de alimentos a través de SNAP.

Programa de establecimiento de objetivos
Focus Points ofrece a las personas asistencia para establecer metas en sus vidas personales. Esto puede ser estar sano y en forma, encontrar un nuevo trabajo, convertirse en ciudadano, aprender un nuevo idioma, encontrar una vivienda estable o cualquier otro objetivo.
Aunque el establecimiento de objetivos lo impulsa el participante, Focus Points los empareja con un mentor, los ayuda a establecer pasos alcanzables para alcanzar su objetivo y les proporciona recursos. Los participantes se reúnen con sus mentores una vez al mes para comprobar el progreso y cumplir sus objetivos.
Acceso a la atención médica
Podemos ayudarles a individuos y familias a inscribirse en programas de seguro médico. Estos incluyen el Medicad, el CHP+ para niños, y el Medicaid de emergencia. Entérese de si usted está elegible para estos beneficios.

Older Adults Programming
We allow for a space for older adults (ages 50 and up) to access services and resources specific to their needs during informative workshops while finding time to socialize and get together over food or go on local field trips.

We are recruiting middle school to high school youth (ages 12-18) for our Youth Advisory Committee. Help us co-create a responsive youth program that align with your interests and needs. More information to come.

Focus Points can help you determine your family’s rental assistance eligibility and connect you to the resources you need. For those living either in the Globeville Elyria-Swansea area (GES) and outside of GES, Focus Points will assist in providing participants with relevant resources to prevent displacement in their correct county including Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance (TRUA) y Denver Human Services.
