Marketing and Communications Specialist

Focus Points Family Resource Center is seeking a full-time Marketing & Communications Specialist with 1-3 years experience to join our team. This position produces and guides strategy for all external communications including marketing collateral, website and email communication, and social media to consistently articulate Focus Points’ mission, values and enlist support for the organization’s work.

Family and Community Engagement Specialist

The Family and Community Engagement Specialist (FaCES) will be based out of Focus Points Family Resource Center and is central to supporting and strengthening the link between community-based organizations, businesses, faith communities, and philanthropic groups to schools, communities, and families. The FaCES supports the systems-driven approach to case management for the multi-generation services offered to participants out of both Focus Points and Wyatt Academy.

Parents as Teachers (PAT) Manager

The Parents As Teachers (PAT) Manager will be certified in the PAT program model and will ensure the delivery the PAT curriculum into the homes of our Spanish speaking families with children ages 0-3 years old. This position is responsible for meeting program fidelity, program, and grant expectations, following the guidance of Focus Points’ Chief of Program Operations.

Bilingual Mental Health Therapist II - License Preferred

This position is a community-based position in collaboration with WellPower. The role will provide bilingual (Spanish and English) mental health counseling, psychiatric, and case management services to the Latino/a/x and Hispanic communities. We serve people across the lifespan, working through a trauma-informed, strengths-based, relational, culturally attuned, and community responsive lens. The position provides outpatient therapy across the lifespan to children, youth, adults, couples, and families.

Comal Hospitality Specialist

The Comal Hospitality Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, friendly, and healthy dining area for guests and the Comal program participants in alignment with public health regulations and industry best practices. This position is also the primary administrative support for the Comal Program reporting directly to the Program Manager. The FOH specialist will work with Focus Points participants, who typically come from immigrant, refugee, low-income, and other diverse backgrounds.

English Language Acquisition (ELA) Program Manager

The English Language Acquisition (ELA) Program Manager will provide oversight of ELA team and supports grant fidelity, measures and outcomes. This will include establishing and building relationships with partners to ensure quality instruction and grant fidelity; supervising consistent processes and procedures for program implementation and instruction; and supporting the Senior Manager in grant regulation, reporting, and program budget to ensure outcomes, deliverables, and statements of work are met.

CoCuA Lead Specialist

The CoCuA Lead Specialist (Café & Commissary Operations) will be an experienced hospitality professional with experience in both the Front of House and Back of House, with a preference for Front of House experience. They will work closely with the Program Manager and CoCuA team, and be responsible for directing the daily operations of the café and commissary space, coordinate program and curriculum activity, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as, CoCuA and Focus Points’ standards in all areas of operation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, recruiting, controlling and reporting operation costs, identifying wastes, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer, social media content collection, and other operational needs as they arise.

CRSP (Colorado Refugee Services Program) ELA Instructor

The CRSP ELA Instructor is a part-time instructor for our adult refugee ELA program. The instructor is responsible for the teaching of up to three classes as well as assisting with academic activities and general administrative duties as assigned.

PT Front of House Specialist – Cashier

The Comal Part-Time Front of House (FOH) Specialist (Cashier) will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, friendly, and healthy dining area for guests and the Comal program participants in alignment with public health regulations and industry best practices. The FOH specialist will work with Focus Points participants, who typically come from immigrant, refugee, low-income, and other diverse backgrounds.

HIPPYCorps Member

HIPPY is an evidence-based, home visitation program that provides weekly visits to families with children ages 3-5 years old. During each visit, the home visitor role plays an activity packet with the parent, which the parent then completes with their child throughout the week. Families also are invited to participate in a monthly group meeting with other families. As AmeriCorps members, the home visitors also engage in additional community service events and professional development opportunities.

Comal Front-of-house Specialist

Focus Points Family Resource Center is looking for one (1) qualified candidate to fill our Comal PT FOH Specialist (Cashier) position. The Comal PT FOH Specialist (Cashier) will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, friendly, and healthy dining area for guests and the Comal program participants in alignment with public health regulations and industry best practices. The FOH specialist will work with Focus Points participants, who typically come from immigrant, refugee, low-income, and other diverse backgrounds.

English Language Acquisition (ELA) Instructor

Focus Points is seeking a Part-Time English Language Acquisition Instructor to teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, life-skills and competencies, which can increase employability.
This important role also consists of lesson planning and curriculum development, delivering outcomes within our various program goals and grant policies, and providing participant support within our new Digital Literacy Plan.
As our participants come from diverse backgrounds with many different needs, the ELA instructor also advocates for participants’ self-sustainability by helping them navigate through the many other programs here at Focus Points.
The candidate selected for this position will be expected to teach up to 3 classes (online, in-person and/or hybrid) at various levels, attend necessary program and organizational trainings/webinar, and participate in other professional development opportunities to strengthen teaching methodologies.

Bus Driver

The bus driver provides transportation to community members and partner organizations. This position requires flexibility in schedule. The bus driver is in charge of keeping the bus clean and in working order, scheduling maintenance, and keeping an updated trip schedule, along with maintaining communication with partner organization regarding trips.
