PAT Educator

Focus Points is seeking a Parent Educator to join our Parents as Teachers (PAT) Team. The Parent Educator provides parent education, developmental information and family support to parents through personal home visits to promote the healthy development of children from pregnancy to three years old. Parent Educators utilize the nationally recognized “Parents as Teachers” curriculum to deliver quality home based early childhood education, developmentally age appropriate resources and effective child –parent interaction techniques.

CRSP Coordinator

Focus Points is seeking a Coordinator for our CRSP (Colorado Refugee Services Program). The coordinator is responsible for intake processes, assessment administration, outreach efforts and data entry. This important role also consists of working with resettlement agencies to ensure best class placement and support to all incoming participants, Additionally, the coordinator works with teachers to record goal setting data and attendance within various data bases. As our participants come from diverse backgrounds with many different needs, the CRSP coordinator also advocates for participants’ self-sustainability by helping them navigate through the many other programs here at Focus Points. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to onboard and enroll each participant upon entry into the program at various levels, hand deliver forms and learning supplies, attend necessary program and organizational trainings/webinar, and participate in other professional development opportunities to strengthen program knowledge.

PAT Manager

The PAT program is looking for a manager who can supervise a team of four parent educators and take on a caseload of up to 4 families. The PAT manager will be expected to guide the team in implementing the PAT National Curriculum for prenatal parents to parents of children who are up to three years old. This position will require someone with organization skills, extreme attention to detail, interpersonal and relationship building skills, and a growth mindset, in order to guide the PAT team through a new model of hybrid services while continuing to serve our families through the high-quality curriculum.

Workforce Development Manager

The Workforce Development Manager provides oversight of the Workforce Development team, execution of all workforce services and ensures fidelity and funding requirements are met. The position performs comprehensive budget, project and supervision management duties. The Manager will also serve as a representative of Focus Points in the workforce space and will cultivate partnerships in support of the programs. The Manager supervises all staff members within the Workforce Team.

Comal Kitchen Specialist

Focus Points Family Resource Center is seeking a Part-Time, Kitchen Specialist to work in its social enterprise, Comal Heritage Food Incubator. The candidate supports the development of participants by organizing the daily kitchen operations for the Comal Heritage Food Incubator training program. The Kitchen Specialist will be responsible for training and instructing participants in culinary practices during training shifts, according to learning objectives laid out in the Program curriculum, and supervised by the Program Manager/Executive Chef. The candidate selected will be expected to receive additional training and professional development in areas related to compassion fatigue, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as other areas identified by the Program Manager/Executive Chef.

Nonprofit Development Internship
