Wildflower ELA Instructor

This role requires planning and teaching four (4) classes per week, ranging from pre-literate to advanced levels. Our courses are 2.5 hours each and held 2x weekly. This is currently a hybrid position—with attendance to in-person meetings and trainings required—and will likely require adjustment to in-person or hybrid classroom modalities in the near future.

Wildflower Lead ELA Instructor

The Wildflower Lead ELA Instructor is the primary instructor for our adult refugee ELA program. The lead instructor is responsible for the teaching of four classes as well as assisting with additional academic activities and general administrative duties as assigned.

Older Adults Services Specialist

The Older Adults Services (OAS) Specialist is part of our Family Support Services team. The OAS builds nurturing relationships with our older adults and empowers them to identify appropriate services, and collaborates with older adults in identifying their strengths and needs to develop individual case management plans. Furthermore, the OAS will collaborate with the Family and Community Resources Specialist with monthly community gatherings for older adults.

Comal Back-of-House Specialist Prep/Line Cook

The Comal BOH Specialist (Prep/Line Cook)) will be an expert in kitchen food preparation for our lunch service and Happy Hour, versed in ethnic cuisines (Indian, Mexican, El Salvadorian, etc.). This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and healthy kitchen for the Comal program participants in alignment with public health regulations and industry best practices. The Prep/Line Cook will work with Focus Points participants, who typically come from immigrant, refugee, low-income, and other diverse backgrounds.
