About Huerta Urbana

Huerta Urbana is an agricultural social enterprise which provides economic opportunities for families and ensures access to fresh and healthy food. Huerta is held at a central urban farm on the Focus Points’ site in GES. The program trains families in local food production and distribution. Participants harvest produce for sale at the Huerta Urbana Farmers’ Market, all while earning a stipend, acquiring entrepreneurial skills from industry leaders, and graduating with the Colorado State University Beginner Market Farmer Training Certificate.
