Huerta is held at a central urban farm on the Focus Points’ site in GES and satellite sites around Metro Denver. The program trains families in local food production and distribution.
Comal Heritage Food Incubator
Gain skills to launch your own business or career.
Comal Heritage Food Incubator, that ran from 2016-2025, provided skills in culinary arts and business as a platform for economic development to immigrants and refugees who aspired to become food entrepreneurs. The program gave these women a venue to celebrate their culinary traditions while learning about entrepreneurship and professional food services. While the program is no longer around, the impact on the community will still be felt and we are grateful to supporting the careers of many of our participants.
